These are representative images of the area where I live and photograph most of the time. Wide skies and relatively flat land. It might not seem that interesting until you spend time walking that land, under that sky, taking in the wind, the grasses, trees, rivers and wildlife.
Grasslands around the world are among the most stressed habitats, although we should acknowledge that all natural habitats are stressed. When you spend time on this land, it’s easier to see why it’s worth caring for.
